Interview I : Katherine Brannock

WHO : Who are you? My name is Katherine Brannock.

WHAT : What are you? I am the creator of Someday Mouse.

WHEN : When were you first prompted to create your special Someday? At the end of 2014, I survived a five car pile-up and realized the immense preciousness of life. Shortly thereafter, Someday Mouse was brought into the world, and debuted at the San Diego Comic Con in the summer of 2015.

WHERE : Where was your special Someday achieved? My special Someday was achieved in San Diego, California. This is also where I continue to create more Somedays.

WHY : Why were you compelled to create your Someday? After realizing that life is not only a precious, but a fragile gift, I wanted to inspire others to live their lives to the fullest. We have the opportunity to choose our response to every moment, not just the conventionally good moments, but the

HOW : How did you achieve your Someday? It was a long road.

WHICH : Which is you favorite Someday Mouse? That’s so hard to answer, it definitely changes with my mood. But I find myself always coming back to Someday you will enjoy your own company, and Someday you will write your story.

I have been a creative director at various organizations and created websites and brand identities for a wide range of industries including restaurants, hotels, bio-tech leaders, non-profit organizations and software companies.

Growing up in Rome, Italy in an artistic family gave me the foundation of who I am today. I have a passion for clean minimalist design, typography and photography.

Having lived 25 years in San Diego creating successful brands in the US, Mexico and Italy – I bring a multi-cultural perspective to my work.

I have a strong network of copy writers, photographers, videographers, food stylists and web developers that I partner with when necessary.
